family tree problem

I came across this problem blaying the byzantines on sicillian vespers 2.5. The family tree seems to be a problem. when a male general comes of age , he gets a wife through marriges. for the first generation it seemed to be ok. but at the second generation most of the males didnt get a wife and just died without any heirs leaving my empire of 56 regions with 18 generals and govenors. Please help i need a solution to this

Have you tried using your diplomats to find them wives?

Yes , for fation heirs and faction leaders. but the other members of the family who arent in these positions , their is no way please help
