As a new citizen, I can speak from my own experiences and say that sudden entry into the Curia can be confusing. There are alot of terms and procedures that us newbs are not aware of. The wiki and random stickies help, but there is no central place to go, no reference material organized in such a way that would be able to be quickly referenced and utilized by the new citizens. Even getting this proposal out is taxing and I'm sure I will do something wrong. (Please feel free to let me know.)
I propose that a 'book of terms and procedures' be produced in order to define and lay out step by step the terms and procedures of the Curia. The best way to describe it is 'Curia Cliffnotes' really. I am convinced that the creation of the book will see an increase in Curial interest as citizens both new or just unfamiliar with Curial proceedings will feel more comfortable in this environment. Let's face it, by the time we are citizens we aren't going to ask someone what an Ostrakon is. But should the event arise, wouldn't it be great if there was a reference thread?
As far as who can create this, a committee of volunteers with an intimate knowledge of Curial proceedings should be organized. (the only requirement being knowledge about the Curia)
I would volunteer myself, but, I wouldn't get too far.
