Ideal SS.6.1 army V.S. Ideal BC army.

Now, I know what you are thinking, theirs K.O.V.A.V. trying to start another flame war

, but thats not the case! if I wanted to start a flame war I would post a thread like "even though you can have both, which one is over all better, bc or ss ?" that would be pointless, so I decided to ask the question; if the perfect,ideal bc and ss armies fought, who would win? PS: Don't worry, this shouldn't start a flame war, because which army would win does not prove which mod is better, to get both sides of the argument, I will post this in the ss forums also.

Does it need to be mixed unit tactics (rather than 20 of 1 super unit)?
Realistic army composition?
Under a certain amount of $$?

Interesting topic though.

I think my Elite Georgian Monspa army could hang with nearly any SS army.

1x Georgian BG
4x Monspa Lancers
6x Monspa HA
5x Monspa Archers
4x Monspa Swordsmen

It's somewhat weak against large numbers of knights and heavy lancers though, because of the lack of spears, but the Monspa Lancers can deal with those in most armies.

Uhh imanaged to get 18 Kwarez Guard Lancers and 13 Kwarez Guards about the time mongols did spawn. Used only early Hormuz Rush, get ship, Calula and 1000/turn form merchant :p

$#@^ what's in the army, it's how you use it that matters. If it was possible for one person to play against himself so it would be fair for both mods, SS would probly win just because of gunpowder. Unit-wise BC has stronger ones than the best SS ones.

Their gunpowder will get raped by any of BC lancers.

But than again i just relized. Vaugue militia (French pikeman) with 3 or 4 attack can own anything and archers dont stop them.

A full ERE army, a main Battle Line of Spatheroi, back up reserves of Perephetoi (ERE Varangians can't spell actual unit name) flanked with Kataphractoi, Pronoia for quick charges.

which is why almost everyone has pikes. Very good ones for some of the factions.

Another point, the best units from SS are several hundred years later than those of BC.

Advanced plate armored knights would probably trump any of the units in this mod if the stats were done the same way.

Hmm...What if I post a now topic called perfect (by perfect, I mean a balanced extremely high tier army) European army of medieval times VS a ideal army of medieval times middle east. I meant to start such a debate, but I knew allot of the people that were interested in the middle east would be on th BC forums and the European players would be on the ss forums, so, do you think I should?

Any BC army would win against any SS army, the sheer shiny-ness of the detail of the models would cause an immediate surrender and rout of the cloudy SS units.

NOTHING CAN STOP THE CATAPHRACTOI! NOT EVEN YOUR PUNY PIKEMEN! (i just ride around) and those varangians/pelkyphori whatever, they are TOUGH! id have to say BC, because the SS models would look in awe at the superiority of the BC unit graphics, IMO of course.
