Default Question to all religious people

Bone to pick with all religious people.
    God loves us all, yes?

If I'm reading the URLs right these pics are of the genocide in Darfur, right?

Anyway, from a Christian POV, God loves everyone. But those who committed the atrocities in these pics will meet him and God will do what he will do.

    EDIT:

Ok so no those aren't Darfur.

I retract my previous statement then.

Lets start anew. Yes, God loves everyone. But I can see where this is going. Why does this, that, and the other happen? I don't know and I can't answer for him.

God is all powerful he created the universe as we know it so why can't he stop this happening? They are just pic's straight out of google images, searched; genocide and death.

One can argue free will of humanity caused all this. Life isn't meant to be perfect and a cakewalk. If God is real and the whole Christian doctrine is true then those who have faith and follow Jesus' word then they will have nothing to worry about. But if there is no God then... *shrugs*

From my perspective, the gods are not all-powerful and all-loving. They are not white fluffy balls of divine cotton-candy. I see them as beings who influence the universe intangibly, not as overbearing monolithic dictators, and that human free will is the main factor in man-made examples of death and devastation. In examples of natural phenomena wreaking destruction, I see the will of nature as indifferent to the will of humans.

Personally i can not understand how people can follow a religion and believe that god will protect them and that god will answer their prayers when this is happening to people. Why won't god show us in some way what is the right path, away from all the violence. Guess that this is just a futile question...

According to Christian belief, God loves all but hates sin. Continuous or unrepentant sinners will have no place in heaven.

Have you ever had your (don't mean to attack or threaten you) fingers broken or the back of your kneecap shoot out, how about having electricity passed through your genitals, i am sure this has been done to some devout religious person somewhere in this world. I am sure an eternity of damnation would make the fellow feel better and lessen the memories of the pain.

I couldn't say, my brother. You asked about God loving us all, and I gave you my answer from what I understand of the Christian perspective.
In regards revenge, or humans inflicting pain on other humans, this is a different question I don't think I can answer, as I personally like revenge and kicking the wub out of people who do me wrong....

Wait, how do you jump from from breaking fingers to shocking someone's balls? That's quite a leap. XD

Even if they believe it's right? What if they're just obeying command from the president? Or the church or Pope? Or a democratic goverment? If this decision of genocide is hold in a public poll and agreed by more than 1/2 of all citizens in one country, should they all go to hell?

And what about the crusaders? (oh old topic again!) Should they go to hell for donating all of their money or even their own lives in order to support this holy war? Or go to heaven for butchering innocent islamists?

Loves everyone. Especially those people, who have strayed so far away. Free will and its results when under abuse you see. You can't have one without the other.

those horrible things are like fine art to god, It enjoys the smell of putrescene cadaverene and necrosene, the colors of the flesh as it rots and swells in the sun with the chorus of the screaming children making a holy cacophony an offering to the LORD.

all pain is prayer, war death and murder are all offerings to your one holy god.

Find me one verse in the Bible that proves that.

Well, images of deformed or dying kids are always disturbing and challenging. From my Christian perspective, God does love everyone, as Black Pearl said above. But God knows death like we don't, and he knows pain as a mere temporal thing, which we in our human casings may find hard to understand. We think pain and death are automatically bad - but are they, overall, in a cosmic sense? I mean, Jesus didn't shirk the experience of physical agony or the actual experience of death. There's nothing we could go through that He wouldn't go through also.

You know, the poor kids I saw in those pics may be the method by which some people come to God? And those people may bring others to God? Maybe their suffering will promote more good than bad in the end?

Terrible stuff, I admit. But we in our human shells are terribly biased when it comes to these things. Death isn't as bad as our survival instinct would have us believe.

well it is a condition of its existence; if indeed god exists as a supreme being it would necessarily require the input of all information in the universe.

in order to be all knowing.

so what ever you do you do directly to god, every insult every mercy is directly done to the supreme being.( this being all is an offering to the lord)
