Every time I attack a city, it seems that a random reinforcement army appears and attacks my army. Usually, I defeat them with ease. But I miss out on all the great sieges! Is there a garrison script, or am I just unlucky?

Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.
Well no, but if you play 0 turn recruitment theres boung to be alot of armies around for reinforcements, and to be honest i like it like that as sieges are boring and glitchy, especially on huge unit size. so a nice open battle is good

Like to see a garrison script to.
Sieges a are a big element off warfare that shouldn`t be legnectet.
(:hmmm:legnegtet)
Also than I can use my ´´marines´´ more often.(insider joke)
I am fairly sure that there is no script running in RS. Most mods require you to start the script each time you load a save game - basically the advisor appears and you're prompted to click the 'show me how' button which intitiated the script. EB, RTR PE and RTR VII TIC are examples of this.
I have seen somewhere on the forum that a mod has a script that doesn't need that.

I usually have one minor army who defend the larger one who hold the siege.
I place the minor army in a way that it could block any other attacker from be
being able to attack my larger one, that way could you maintain a siege while
your enemies sending small reinforcments.
Hope that you understod my explanation and that it work out for you, as sieging is a major part of the game.
