Old Scratch, my dear friend..... I challenge you to beat "tehuancan" playing the spanish, in the kingdoms scenario, I think it's impossible in the MTW2 vanilla mod, due to the very very stupid AI.

But I've come really close in the kingdoms version.

Anybody interested in this challenge can download the tehuancan scenario for kingdoms at this link. It's a mighty tough challenge. It's a small file (the size of a mp3) and fairly easy to install, installation instructions are included.

If per chance, one of you mighty warriors does defeat the aztecs, would love to see some screenshots or maybe even (if you'd post it for download) the battle replay.

is this the one where its really grassy, behind the spanish army there is a forest, there is a ridge in your formation where you can put your musketeers, and you get reinforcements later on?

if so, i think i might have beaten it. not too sure though

This is a custom scenario I created a couple of months ago.
Has a Large Aztec city with villages surrounding the perimeter.
No reinforcements....... them spaniards is on their own.
Conquer or Die.

posting on public forums is just begging for ppl to come say whatever comes to their head imo

i've downloaded the scenario, but i'm not running vanilla atm, do i have to have vanilla in order to play the scenario or will an unmoded kingdoms do??

There are scenarios for both kingdoms (which is the one linked to this thread) and vanilla....... vanilla seems impossible to beat, the vanilla AI allies, as soon as they pop a couple of holes in the citys walls, run in and get themselves killed.
The AI allies in the kingdoms mod are a lot more reserved and delay their attack till later. Giving the human player the opportunity to destroy 2 of the aztec armys stationed outside the city walls.
