Because. Modemnakers choose another factions for making. I wanted to make Rhun but <Shved> ask me to make Eriador first

What sort of unit will Eriador have? I didn't know that they were a great power...
Won't hobbit's be a little unbalanced, considering they had small say in Middle-Earth affairs...
I know how you feel..no-one seems to notice my overly hilarious short-jokes..
You mean hobbits? Hobbits of Buckland defended their homes with bows when Saruman and his merry fellows arrived to Shire. They shot couple of them with bows. Also I'd believe that Gondor and Rohan would have falled hobbits would have make final fight for Shire against invading forces of evil.
They would have 'little' chance against Modors hordes.
Oh come on! Give a guy a break, you just had to laugh at that one, there is just no resisting it!
And yeah I think hobbits should be included but they would have to have good accuracy poor defence/attack.
I still find it incredibly unlikely that you could muster up enough hobbits that are willing to fight and even if you could you would never get enough that are willing to leave the Shire to fight I know they'll defend their land but if we use the spawning armies script to spawn hobbit soldiers if the Shire is under siege after the battle you could move the hobbits anywhere so they just won't work in my opinion
No, your right there, hobbits would never leave the Shire, they should just be implemented as a defensive rebel force.
I'm not so sure about that a faction would require alot more work than simply adding a unit or 2 because a faction would need at least 10 and still have a pretty limited unit roster and balancing work would need to be done and there's on way to stop the AI from expanding and all in all a hobbit faction is a even worse idea than a hobbit unit
They would be just too weak. No faction for hobbits, rebels maybe, but having hobbits a faction, thats like having a faction for i'll tempered mutant sea-bass...it just doesn't work.
Have neither of you people read the Lord of the Rings? at the end of book 3 the shire is invaded by Saruman and his wildmen, and in certain parts they get there asses kicked by indeed hobbit archers.
and also hobbits do not only live in the Shire, there are hobbits in Bree and Staddle too. wich are quite different to the hobbits in the Shire.
We know it. But Count(er) discuss with us about hobbits every time )

But hobbits would never march to war. Neither would mutated sea-bass.
Hi,
I think it would be a good idea to include the Hobbitarchers as rewards for senatmissions of Arnor like the mercenaries you get in RomeTW for those missions.
