Many people have asked about new factions which will be in future updates. This unit list which we have now will be in first version and we are not going to change it. But here's some factions which will be quite surely in future updates.

These three factions will be quite surely:

    Lothlórien
    Mirkwood
    Umbar

Lothlórien and Mirkwood will be separated factions so there will not be Silvan Elves faction after that anymore. Umbar will be separated from Harad to it's own faction.

These factions might be in future updates but these are not so important:

    Dunland
    Beornings
    Khand

As for me we need to part High Elves: make Lothlorien, Rivendalle and Grey Havens
And I think we don't need Beorings as faction. We discuss about it ion SiCh. To few units and quite neutral position

As for me - I want Dark Elves. To few Eastern factions in game. So One more will be good

The Elves from Lothlorien are not High elves(just Galadriel was).I agree for the Beornings. And I think Khand really has to have its own faction-they are different than the Easterlings and the Haradrim. So is Umbar.

Yeah, only reason why to add beornings was that they cleared passes in Misty Mountains from orcs and guarded well areas between Mirkwood and Misty Mountains.

Well we don't even know that were there any dark elves left in east. They might have later moved to west and live with elves of Mirkwood and Lothlórien. They all might have died already before first age because of Morgoth's servants.

    Yes we don't know but:
    1. They don't have to reasons to move wEst because of conflict with Valar
    2. They are more powerful than Noldor cause they don't move to WEst and have more blood of Elves of First Age. And they allways was quite neutral. So I don't think that they could allready die
    3. Tolkien don't say that there's now elves on East now. All he said, that they stay in East
    4. Most of tOlkiens followers thinks that Dark elves live in East soon
    5. It would be interesting faction for playing and we need more eastern factions, as I say earlier.

BUt it all is only our ideas. We need to finisjh mod first

I can't agree with 2. The power is not the blood, it was said that the Elves which have seen the light of two trees are greater, also Dark Elves are probably armed similar to wood elves.

Well they aren't more powerful than elves who live in west. Elves who stayed in east never saw light of two trees which made Vanyar, Noldor and Teleri who lived in Tol Eressea much stronger than those who lived in east. Sindar became more powerful because Melian lived among them and they became more wise and stronger.

Elves who never went to great journey were much weaker than for an example númenoreans. They never formed great civilizations and they lived separatedly. They might be even weaker than people of Gondor.

I don't know where you have red that they were stronger because all I've read is that they were much weaker than elves who lived in Beleriand and Aman. Noldor gained great strength and knowledge in west and brought it to Middle Earth.

PS. And like Alerion said their equipement was probably much weaker than which for an example elves of Mirkwood had.

As for me they must be closer to elves of Lothlorien. So smth averedge beetween High and Silvan elves. And as for power. I mean some magical Knowledge that Noldor elves loose, not phisycal or inner strength

What do you mean with magial knowladge?
Also Dark Elves are most similar to Nandor I guess cause those left the journey first. Lothlorien is diffrent the Elves there gained greatly from Galadriel and Celeborn.

I shouldn't matter unless you are going to have dark elves in this.

From today Elves I think their most similar to elves of Mirkwood, those stayed longest iwthout ingerention of the west.

I don't think so. Mirkwood elves are wild and a bit stupid. Dsrk elves in all descriptions are closer to them but more intelligent. So elves of LOthlorien are more convinient

Why do you think Mirkwood elves are stupid? If Elves had any special knowladge before going west it had conection to nature. Cause of the I think their closest to Mirkwood. Also I can't find any proof on great knowladge of Dark Elves.
