    Icon3 New skins for Mongols?

    I was wondering if BC mod will implement new skins for Mongol faction instead of old vanilla skins.If i may suggest that ideas for new skins you can find in the movie "Mongol" Directed by Sergei Bodrov,especially the two handed swords horsemen unit but i think that is not possible in the MTW2 engine.

    It might be something we'll be up for doing in the future. For now though it's not in our plans. However thanks for the link, we'll be taking the wealth of Mongol material into consideration if and when we work on them

    Its a 2.0 consideration not a 1.5. And besides all factions and weather or not other Mongol factions will make 2.0 have yet to be decided as well.

    Agreed.
    The armor can be taken, but not the two-sword riders, or any other unit that has been made for the sake of movie.

    ive got some concept stuff from a talented illustrator (Orda Khan) who loves Steppe armies.

    You probably do, but you do realise that the warriors with two swords aren't historical at all, I mean its just a movie.
