    but wait a minute it looks like a part of the farm is
    locatet on a slope, maybe if you found a more plain

    Its in your settlement plan.

    Your placing buildings on an area that is not flat.

    Are you doing this in the battle editor or in the settlement plan?

    I am doing this by editing text files of towns/cities. And it is works on flat grounds but I want them to place all around the town/city.In this case the place of farm is a kind of hill. So is there anyway to fix this ? How can I raise ground level around that farm ? :hmmm:

    Thanks for anwsers.

    If your doing this in the battle editor the machine automatically levels the ground out.

    If you look waaaaaaay in the back ground you'll see several farms. I did not level the ground out, but the settlement plan will over ride the ground elevation.

    The way you do this is to open the battle_editor, chose an area near your city. Import you settlemtent plan, then add buildings around it. Then add the custom tile to your data/world/maps/campaign/my_campaign folder.

    As for doing this yourself. Well, you will have to open the underlay.cas up in 3DMax and edit it. This isn't too difficult but does take some trial and error.

    Good luck and let me know if these answers don't make sense.

    Here is a problem I dont know how to solve.

    As you can see the castle is levitating 2 meters above ground. The castle was made for Chivalry(which has a small mound under it). Can I lower it with a simple code or do I have to create a shiny new mound under it.

    Edit: Have found a solution fitting for my skills Adapting the cas-file for the Chivalry underlay/overlay-file so that the scene-root is centered on the mound.
    Then this code in descr_settlement_plan
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    variant
    {
    cultures
    {
    barbarian
    nomad
    hun
    norman
    }
    buildings
    {
    core_building governors_palace
    }
    floor ../../../bi/ni/data/settlement_plans/underlays/underlay_motte.CAS ../../../bi/ni/data/settlement_plans/overlays/overlay_motte.CAS
    ctw_we_motte, 0, 0, 0, 0
    }

    and this in the folder settlement_plans(in this case for barbarian city)
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    plan

    {

    ; z=-4 to move white flag outside the rock
    target rectangle x 0 z -4 rot 0 width 32 height 32
    floor barbarian_city_underlay.CAS ../../../bi/ni/data/settlement_plans/underlays/underlay_motte.CAS barbarian_city_overlay.CAS ../../../bi/ni/data/settlement_plans/overlays/overlay_motte.CAS
    ground_types barb_city_ground.tga -416 -416 416 416
    street_plan barb_city_pathfinding.CAS
