I've fought hundreds of battles in this game, but did not notice until just yesterday that this game has blood in it. During a siege assault, I zoomed in as close as the camera allows on the battle taking place at the central plaza. I watched a couple of dismounted knights in particular fighting to the death. After they had dueled for a while, I noticed that both of them (and their weapons) were becoming progressively more soaked in blood as they continued fighting. Now that's a nice touch.

yep, though sometimes it just looks like rusty dirt (soil with iron in it that has rusted...sheesh)
and then when said dirt is on the bodies, it looks like a rusty robot imitation of a medieval warrior

I guess I am not very observant either.

I always thought it was weird that the country videos on load up were gory but the game didn't seem to be.

Yes I like this touch. I like to zoom in when i am fighting on the walls

I haven't noticed people falling off the walls like they used to in RTW however

It was good to see people splat onto the floor haha.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. I have not played this game very much, but it's the little touches like this that make a big difference.

Curtis Hillman, a new media designer, once wrote about how critical every pixel is when considering a design. I think details like this extra touch when zoomed in backs up that notion!
