What is your favorite way to play Kingdoms?

actuly ill leave it till I've finished my youtube series of videos showing why its the worst game in existence. I have never ever felt such hatred towards a material object.

my Lithuanian axemen get owned by even order spears and they price armour.

what against sword millita and completely outnumbered cav? Either the animation is still bugged or the sheild bug fix is still making them unbalanced because they suck.

And I like solo best because I win against the AI, real intelligence is too hard to beat. And the PC I have my games on is 1. laggy on the web, and 2. not connected to the web at the moment (it hasn't been for 2 years...)

I wouldn't put Lithuanian ax men against a larger heavy spear unit, infact I wouldn't put them against spear at all. The defense & numbers win out over shear strength in attack. Spear units are used primarily to tie up your good units.

it's pretty hard when the liths are really poor and literary their only other infantry is light spears and crappy millta.

Have you fought order spears they are better than the average spearmen. and don't even get me started on dismounted ribters(sp?). The liths cant even afford crossbows or much else. about the only thing decent is massed Baltic archers which again your poor eco prevents. Those axes have 16 attack and decent defence they should rip though anything armoured but don't. I was using the spears as an example as they are amomg the weaker tet units.

soz to say mate u can do 2 things
PLAY AS SOME OTHER FACTION or dont charge axmen into anything other than things like halbrudder etc ritterbruder are too heavy and can only be killed by heavy cav oh yea lith suck and so their axemen so go woth my other advice and PLAY AS ANOTHER FACTION

Well orders have what like 18 or 20 defensive or something? and like 11 attack? I see you points. I only played the vanilla campaign when M2 was released so I can't really comment on your strategy. But I guess by comparison my Varangians have 20 attack and 15 defense.

however, ritterbruders are not spears and a well placed cavalry charge will take a lot of them out. rinse and repeat

Yeah but the liths cant afford them. I've given up on them and the game now i know those units are still bugged.

2H axemen are really underpowered, their stats might be fine but their animations are way to slow resulting in an interruption by the enemy in 90% of the cases and even if it doesnt get interrupted theres just a huge chance even against peasants that the blow will be blocked, dodged or survived.

Every game has it flaws and shouldnt be completely judged on those, CA wont give u your money back and the chance that they'll fix it is close to nihil as well. I advice u to play M2TW with mods, some like SS or DLV have submods with it that include new animations which again includes a fast swing animation for 2h axemen.

Please call a game that hasnt got one bug. Not to mention that m2tw isnt broken because of this.
