Glitch perhaps?

Today I installed patch 1.2 for this game.
After doing so,I loaded my game and found that the labels which you put over when you were constructing new buildings were gone.
Although I guess this is not much of a problem for some people, it is for me since I just bought this game and I'm not familiar with the building's pictures.

P.S.: Alright now I am encountering another bug.
First in campaign for England at the third or second turn after ending it,it stops at France and from there I am forced to load or quit.
P.P.S.OKAY....wow I actually encountered this turn stopping bug on another faction.
Which happened on the same turn as on my loaded game on England.

I even reinstalled this too.
I'm beginning to think the patch 1.2 is the one causing problems, cause when I played it without updating it, I played through about 10 turns. BTW I didn't get the patch off some crappy site, I got it off gamespot (which to my knowledge isn't full of crap)

It could be a bad download. What is your size of the 1.2 patch? Did you get the right one for your language?

Did you buy the Gold version or just the regular version? I have seen this happen on modded and cracked games, did you do either?

I bought the regular version, unmodded, never used any.
Can you people tell me where you downloaded off the patch?
Because it's the patch that causes all these problems.
