At long last, I have actually finished a campaign

Although with Scotland and HRE as vassals. I completed the game playing as the Spanish. Next I'm going to play as the Russians or the Turks as either should make for a much more challenging campaign. I've never played as the Russians before, or any Islamic faction. Also, I just bought Kingdoms a few days ago and I'd like to give it a try.

I never actually seen the campaign map when the New World is opened up

Does it just go southwest-ward to Central America or does it have North America but its not landable?

Use toggle_fow my friend...it has a part of NA,Caribbean,CA and Brazil...

Dunno. It wasn't discovered yet. I completed my campaign in 1150 or sometime close to that.

Nope, it was the grand campaign, although Spain needs fewer provinces than some of the other factions, such as the Byzantines.

Oh u blitzed it, not much fun in that and not really that impressive.

lol wut? Spending a half hour or more on a single turn micromanaging everything is NOT a blitzkreig. I wasn't trying for some sort of speed record, though I did make good time considering how obsessive I am about that stuff. Micromanagement gets tedious though, and I don't have the patience to wait out over 9000 sieges. If I play the same game for too long, I tend to lose interest, which is why I never finish a campaign I suppose. That's why I tried to keep a steady pace.

Well done dude, I'm on a Spanish campaign atm and its pretty good. I've come close to completing some campaigns with the Turks a few times but I get overly bored.

Good job! I normally just pick a country and do my own thing, the only campaign I beat was the England short campaign to unlock the factions.
