    Hello guys.

I'm member of the Battles of Kingdoms Development Team. Our mod is for BI 1.6, focused on the Medieval Era. This mod is only for custom battles, we aren't making a campaign.

We have the Chivalry: Total War's permission to use the battlemap buildings they have made for European Factions.

Because ChivTW and our mod are both on BI 1.6, I was wondering if it's possible to erase the buildings's files, settlements plans and .txt of vanilla by those from ChivTW, without edit them...

Do you think it will work ? Anyway I hope that some people here will help me in adding these buildings.

    Thank you all.

Hi, I've had a bit of trouble with this myself.

If your just replacing the item files it should work as long as the item names are the same as the item names in RTW. If not then you need to edit descr_items.txt and re-generate an descr_items.db. To be honest I'm not the best person to answer this seeing as I'm struggling myself. I think your best bet may be the mapping section, some of those guys know what they're talking about

Ok. And do you think I can use directly the ChivTW's descr_items.txt ?

It probably wont have all of the items in it, the vanilla one doesnt. Once the descr_items db is produced the txt isn't used so it might not even be included in the mod.
