Quem faz injúria vil e sem razão,Com forças e poder em que está posto,Não vence; que a vitória verdadeira É saber ter justiça nua e inteira-He who, solely to oppress,Employs or martial force, or power, achieves No victory; but a true victory Is gained, when justice triumphs and prevails.

My favourite jazz is definitely John Zorn's Electric Masada. If you like Miles Davis's Bi*ches Brew, you'll probably like this too.
This song takes ages to really get going, but when it does... wow.
Karaim part 1
part 2
and John Zorn's solo stuff, completely different here... short, quirky, sometimes very noisy but catchy songs:
Batman
A Shot in the Dark (give the noisy beginning a chance to disappear... don't turn it off right at the beginning, skip to 0:50 if you want)

Miles Davis is great, but I prefer Dizzy and the Yardbird. What a duo.
Thelonious Monk is great too. I really need to get some more Coltrane though

I listen to them and it was really awesome!
The only track i new was the "shot in the dark" cause i have the OST from the movie+REP
@therussian
The "specialists" consider John Coltrane's "A love supreme" as his best but it is a more experimented album than for instance the cool "Blue Train"
Here are some BEBOP/Cool classics
The "Duke" Ellington:
Take the A train
Charlie Parker:
KOKO(it is included in "The Talented Mr. Ripley)
Charlie/Dizzy
Dizzy:Tunisia

Cab Calloway - Cab Calloway's Hi-De-Ho (1934)
Cab Calloway - St. James Infirmary
Louis Prima King of the Swingers Jazz Legends 1
Louis Prima - I Wan'na Be Like You
My favorite old swing song
Gene Krupa- Sing, Sing, Sing
I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
Great ones (although Cab isn't that good on St James, it doesn't have the dark ethos that it should have)
And can we add Glenn Miller, Ol' Blue Eyes and Ray (at least some of his songs) as Jazz (although it is more Big Band and Swing then Cool Jazz etc
Miller
Chattanooga Choo Choo
In the Mood
Frankie
Ray
