Default Help getting a new PC.

    Hi,

I need a new PC to start classes on August, and finding the right thing for me has always been a pain in the ass, so I thought maybe I could get some help here. This is the thing: I need to get a good notebook, as I will have to use it all the time in college (or so I was told), but I also want a PC in which I can play some TW games some times with decent settings . I know that you can't ask for a great videogame performance on a notebook, but something "decent" is good enough for me (medium settings is ok). Also, I'm gonna study Computer Science, so Ill probably spend most of the time programing or using programs that don't really require that much Ram or a high performance in general to be used (please correct me if im wrong). I also have a lot if music and videos in my old PC, so I thing a lot of space on the harddrive would be much better. So, the question is...which laptop or specs would you recomend?

I saw an HP Pavilion HDX PC which seemed great imo (Core 2 duo 2.50 GHz, Radeon HD 2600 XT, 3 GB Ram), except that it was expensive, much more than I had thought (I really dont have an established budget, but I thought it was very high compared to any other computers i have seen), and I'm not really sure about an ATI graphics card, I've always preferred Nvidia, which one is better for TW?

For your G'card problem, I would recommend Nvidia for the TW games as they were coded with Nvidia technology, but ATI will just work as good.

I can't help much more than that because my specialty is Gaming PCs, not laptops/notebooks.
