Default Graphical differences when zoomed in/out

Greetings..... Not sure if this is a bug or not

I find that when zoomed into units or near to units the graphics are perfect and the colours correctly visualised.... however, when zooming away from units the graphics/colours change to a generic two tone affect (ie for the English all the units appear a yellow/red colour for Scottish blue/white).

I have also noticed the same problems with trees... if you zoom into a tree it looks perfect. When you zoom out the tree changes shape and colour tone.

Not sure if this is fixable.... I don't recall these issues in the vanilla versions of the game.

    Any ideas????

Other then that, I'm loving it...

It is not a bug, although it ruins the game. They are called sprites and kick in after 6400 or 1000 feets distance to prevent lag.

I could not stand it, so I created a thread about it, here in this forum.

With a little help I was able to get rid of these sprites for good. Here are some photos

This requires a good computer, but If you think you got what it takes, try it out I love it. Can not imagine the game without it

(Chose a value that fits your system. My values are NOT reccommended for the avrage user.)

Hey King Crab.... that worked. I did what you suggested in your thread and I lowered my specs a bit to accomodate any extra lag....

It's definately worth it as the battles are a million times better...

    Cheers....

Happy to help If you have any problems with it send me a pm.

EDIT: The trees has some Level Of Detail setting as well, but these can be controlled with an in-game setting. (Vegetation I think)
