LotR:TW Tales of Arda Team needed!

hello peoples,

a few friends and me on the forum of LotR:TW (http://www.lotr-tw.net) have decided to start a series of mini-mods for LotR:TW named Tales of Arda. They will cover the First, Second and Third Age of The Lord of the Rings, but we together aren't a complete modding team. We have the knowledge to make a campaign map, to do a lot of text work and to do the text part of creating units, but we still need help in the form of modelling and skinning. When we have created a good team, Wlesmana (the leader of the LotR:TW mod) will seriously consider allowing us to make the mini-mod. Please, if you are willing to help put down your name and email here, and what you are capable of doing for the mini-mod.

I doubt it. You barley give any information at all on what you want to complete. Maybe if you give more information people might be interested. Also, I dont' know if your already doing this but why don't you see if anyone at the "lotr" forums wants to help too?

we are, but me and Spartanone are still talking about how precisely we are going to do it. the mod will cover the First, Second and Third Ages (each described in the Silmarillion) and you decide how each of them will go. we give you the units, scripts, reinforcements, factions etc. and you decide if the Elves, Men or even Morgoth conquers Middle-Earth. to do this, we are going to create 3 mini-mods, probably using LotR-TW as base, so there isn't gonna be so much work on the Third age, mostly on the First and Second

Have you asked FATW if you can use their resources?. Between them and LOTR you'd have just about every unit you could possibly need.

we would still need some units for the First and Second Age (including Morgoth, which would be the most awesome unit ever ) but indeed, I'll ask them

I could maybe help with unit descriptions and stuff like that--but I have neither the skill nor the resources to do any modeling or skinning.

Don't let this mod doesn't die--I have been wanting to see a First Age mod for a long time!

Spartanone is working on a map of Numenor right now, to show wlesmana (leader of LotR:TW) that we are serious about it, so we can borrow his units. when he's done with that, I'll send it through to you

so you can model units? great! Try to make a forum profile on http://www.lotr-tw.net/ , then go to LOTR-TW Mod Discussion and scroll down untill you see Tales of Arda. That's our main forum
