    Default Strategies for Poland

I'm looking to start a Polish AAR, and I want to have a successful campaign to write about, so would anybody like to give me some tips for playing as Poland? Any help would help, specifically for fighting on the battle map. I'm used to playing as infantry heavy factions, so I'm going to need to know how to play as the more cavalry based Poles. Thank you for the help.

polish nobles and streztsky (the mounted crossbowmen) are some of your best friends, as the teutonic order doesnt really have anything to counter them. against lithuania, they are both stronger that the basic cavalry militia horsemen and will easily make pincushions out of the majority of the soft targets.
polish archers can lay stakes, so deploy those to reinforce any place you think might be hit hard by the TO cavalry. when lithuania gets heavier cavalry, the stakes will prove useful yet again.
halberd militia can have 3 armor upgrades, where they become reasonable infantry for holding the main line. their AP halberds can help against the armor of the TO. (this is all assuming you are fighting the TO) lithuania has very few armored units, but halber militia are still useful for holding the line or crushing the back after outflanking.
the strength of poland does not lie in uber-cavalry, but the sheer variety of cavalry, unlike the cavalry of the TO which relies on just heavy cavalry. retainers and hussars are easily mobile and equally devastating, while the polish guard and polish knights are heavy-duty cavalry useful for annihilating an area of the enemy's line.

    heh no problem
also, for the campaign. choose an enemy, any enemy, and quickly make an allian with all the surrounding factions. so if you choose lithuania, then make alliances with the mongols, the TO, and the HRE, so you can focus on and crush lithuania
