I have played this games in a looong time and really feel good at it. The first campaign ever i lost is armenia VH/VH. It is possibly to do anything. In my game The turks attack me with 2 full stacks after 6 rounds. And i can max have 4 maybe 5 cities at that moment.

Any good tricks ?

I thought about starting a campaign with Armenia, but I got distracted with my Sicilian crusading campaign.And for the highest challenge make campaign Hard and battles Very Hard.I think VH is somehow bugged....

VH campaign is not bugged, it's like a H campaign but with the AI getting an extra 10,000 a turn. I personally don't recommend it.

Lol, I actually just completed an Armenian campaign, I had the whole of Asia minor, Egypt, Armenia ,Middle East, and occasionally parts of Greece.

My advice to be as friendly as possible with the Turks. Early game expand into Asia minor and use Antioch as fortification against threats from the east. Then prepare an offensive, hit the Turks hard and fast, take Aleppo and Edessa, if they cannot be held then destroy it's buildings and abandon them. Recapture the Armenian homeland as soon as you get the chance, it is a strong base from which to recruit strong Armenian units.

It is possibly to do anything. In my game The turks attack me with 2 full stacks after 6 rounds.

In the next Chivalry release the Turks will be spilt into to factions ( The Grand Seljuks and the Turks of Rum ) and they will not be such a super power as it is now. That area of the map will be more balanced

Wanna spread new rumours, eh?
The highest challenge is VH campaign, the AI goes crazy after the human player, and as BNS said already, gets 10.000 extra cash per turn.

No, I saw somewhere people mentioned that the player gets the same bonuses as AI does.Just heard people talking, and saying that H is the hardest campaign challenge....

this is an old thing that was never confirmed, and since it's never mentioned outside the roma surrectum forum I can safely call it a myth, or a mysterious bug that only with the RS settings comes up, until a real evidence is found.

Sorry, but that's rubbish, probably brought up one time by a noob and then such things spread all over.

Such a bug wouldn't make any sense, and if he would have been present in the past, it would have been fixed with RTW/BI patches 1.2 or 1.3 or 1.4 or 1.5 or 1.6, as it would be an easy thing to fix such settings in programs.

Those people have anyway no clue, it is well-known that the AI gets 10000 cash extra per turn on VH camp. You can even see it on the in-game statistics. Plus the AI is more agressive against the human player. Those and any kind of difficulty-programming is not hard to to, and is the base of any difficulty-programs in computer games, if CA has bugged this, then they should give up their jobs.

Those rumours appear again and again ... already 2005, a few people in the old original RTR forums meant, that the Battle Difficulty VH is bugged as well and would be the same as M ... it could never be evidensed.

And all in all, until ther eis no official from CA who admits those bugs, it is just rumours. And btw., also the TW forums are user forums, and don't reflect the TW developers, unless there is no official confirmation.

True, It may be rumors, but I'd still play H/H just because i feel like it.By all means, do play Vh, I have nothing against it.....

That's nice that you have nothing against it. And can you show me the line where i said that i play Chiv on VH camp., or that it is by all means recommended to play on that setting? And the "official" recommendation ifor Chiv s in the Mod Info thread.

you to play Vh, and expressing my opinion, I never said you said or recommended playing Vh, or any other difficulty.

I did a short test in Chiv with H and VH camp (under BI 1.6 exe) with one faction under the exact same conditions, result: no finding of such a VH bonus bug.
Rather my treasury has been lower with VH of about 1000 florins after the exact same actions/turns.
Clear conclusion is, that Chivalry hasn't such a bug, and i assume

there is not such a bug included in RTW/BI ( it might be that RS has included such a "bug" via scripting

).

If you are interested, provide such a test within Chiv, and i bet, you won't find something that reflects what you've read in the RS forum. Fact remains, that VH is harder than H.
