    yes if you where not using the faction type condition the add_money command would give the money to spain

    Some people code that way, its actually listed in the best practices of several languages. Sometimes = is used to assign a value, and == is used to check a value. You can use either with the RTW and M2TW scripting languages.

    I'm working on a large project currently which has taken all my focus, it should hopefully be completed within the week. I will write a script tomorrow and submit it. But to clarify, when is the deadline? The topic says Thursday the 5th of July, but Saturday is the 5th of July :hmmm:

    When I ran it initially, with just the add money at start of each turn, and a test of adding money 50,000 when a farm is built, it worked fine. After modifying it to add the rest, none of them seem to work :hmmm: . Seems to be the same as other scripts that have worked in this thread, only difference is faction choice, because I wanted to check what the game used to render multiple name factions (found out it is either abbreviate or _ in between). This is what is in my system.log.txt (though I'm not sure if it is from today, since I got no errors, the script just didn't run):

    From a cursory check it wouldn't seem any of those errors correspond to the campaign script (nor do they apparently make the game not run fine, so it's possible that is my old error log, the timestamps are just ironically identical since I last had problems around this time). So I'm at a loss as to why it doesn't work . Lastly, sorry it took so long to submit this, been swamped at work all week and yesterday was the 4th of july.

    You have a typo here, the script is case sensitive. It should be FactionIsLocal not factionislocal. I believe the most money you can add is 20000, so 50000 will crash the script. I cant remember if Kingdoms upped that limit or not but I know standard M2 was 20000.

    Also since you cannot be playing hre for this to fire, I suggest putting a test command after add_money hre 20000 like a simple event popup or even add money to the faction you will be playing. If it adds money to your local faction, then it also added money to the hre faction.

    There is a problem with the logic here. It would probably work but tis not the best way to handle it. First off I would set it on SettlementTurnEnd SettlementName Frankfurt, not on FactionTurnEnd.

    Then I would split it into two monitors, especially while testing.

    Manually set farms_built to 2 someplace, then see if the population gets added. Once that works, which this should, then you start building pieces that increment your counter on the conditions you chose.

    Now, you should realize that if you want to script this for each settlement, then you are going to have to create a unique counter for each settlement, or reset the counter to 0 each TurnEnd and script conditions for each settlement at SettlementTurnEnd.

    Tried making the edits and the scripts still don't seem to fire, will look into it more later, thanks for the information though. Concerning "SettlementTurnEnd", how does the game differntiate a settlement versus a faction ending a turn?
