There are only a dozen Irish members here and none of us are fluent.

And you'll never translate an English phrase into Irish exactly.

My effort.

The first half is ok, I think, spelling might be off but the sentence is grammatically correct.

But the second half I'm not so sure, it's word for word translation, so the grammar is probably off.

But this is the closest you'll get here.

Thanks , I don't expect it to be perfect, I am actually really surprised that someone who can speak Gaelic actually happened to find this post and was able to translate what I said, seems like that would be highly statistically improbable.

Enron is the most corrupt American corporation in recent history (though in current economic crisis I'm sure we will see worse, im pondering changing it to Blackwater though) basically they were an energy trading company that just pretended they were doing well so that their stocks would go up, when eventually they collapsed all their workers and investors ended up losing everything while the executives walked away with fortunes, and of course it was tied in with Bush.

Very few fluently. In Ireland I would say about 5000 speak it fluently. And I always hate it in school!

Well thats good I would have thought the number of Gaelic speakers would be declining.

I always wanted to learn it, it seems like an interesting language but being in Texas there are not many opportunities to learn it unfortunately.
