The Danes migrating??

recently i have read a lot of threads about people thinking (or actually doing so) migrating their factions playing like a "horde" state

so i got to thinking about playing a migrating campaign of myself and wanting to add some more challenge (as if running around 1/2 the world with no cash isnt enough) i tried to find which faction would be the most challengin to magrate with and where to go....

after a prolonged and hard debate with myself (which only took like 5 mins ) i came up with the danes migrating to baghdad (excuse the spelling)... i reckon its gonna be quite hard since the holy lands are home to some factions with early and superb horse archers and the danes can only offer infantry (in the begining) to counter them, then there are always the crusades... the mongols.... the plague... the timurids etc etc

can anyone think of another faction migrating to another area that might be more challenging to play?

Personally, I've never seen any horde-style migrations in MIITW. Well... except for the Mongols, but they don't count. I could say the Timurids, too, but I've never gotten that far in any campaign and thus I have never actually seen a stack of Timmies personally. Meh.

Byzantines to Dublin i guess.

nah byzantines are an easy faction to win with, but the journey might b fun well, during the weekend i tried to migrate my Danes to the holy lands, but for some reason my capital always got attacked and i lost the game ://

the last time it was a full stack of english troops landing -.- might have to consider asking for alliances all around and then migrating, but where's the fun in that??

and yeah, moors to russia might be fun... u end up in the steppes, with a ton of troops with combat bonus in deserts

when i did migrate tho i only captured 2 settlements (defended by 1-2 units) which i sacked, sold the buildings and let them rebel do ppl attack every city they come across?? kinda hard to do since the danes dont start with atrillery and i dont wanna waste 4-5 turns waiting to recruit 1

it would be difficult to deal with the HA/heavy cavalry armies of poland and hungary, as well as the HA-centric remnants of novgorod. im not gonna even go into the threat of the mongols and possilby timurids (if you survive MWAHAHAHA)
