    Default I get CTD's but they are different everytime i start SS again :S

    EDIT: ok im having quite a problem, something which i have never experienced in my entire li6fe. Everytime i enter SS6.1 with eastern revival sub mod there is a new problem and a different system log. I don't know what the problem is because i get a different CTD in my system.log.txt everytime i try to run it.

    The problem is not however the files which i have changed since i have run them and they have worked fine. However then i tried playing SS again (without changing anything) and i got CTD.
    So heres the story:

    I got the eastern revival sub mod which has a preview. I decided that i could not play with the preview (georgia had aragonese units ,etc) because it was not done yet so i took it out. But the idea of adding more settlements to the east fascinated m and i thought i would leave that. I know how to add/change/take away regions so i was puzzled when it said there was an error. I made backups of course so i made everything back as it was and started again. Then (my memory is not so good) i tried it and it worked, hurrah, but then something wierd happened....i was using windowed = 1 and i went to clean my key board, while i was cleaning it (this was the weird part) it suddenly shut down. I was surprised and thought it was nothing serious, so then i tried playing SS with my new regions but it would not work. I tried to find out what the problem was and found this:

    mods/Stainless_Steel_6/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 166, column 39
    Invalid ownership type 'kwarezm' found in unit 'baghlah'.
    I'm not the best at interpreting what the log says but i figured it was the unit baghlah which had the problem, funny thing was i had never touched that file or even thought about it. It was really weird and since this was something which i had no knowledge of i told myself the wisest of things would be to save my changes with the regions, copy SS6 and then paste my changes. It worked and i thought it was all fine again but i was wrong...
    If memory serves me right the same thing happened two more times, every time i used it again. I was becoming quite frustrated with this and did it one more time (copy, paste, etc). It worked again and thinking that by putting SS6 into "read only" it should solve it. I played for a while and found out that my regions still had their original names. For example, munster was in russia now instead of ireland and it still said munster and the settlement still said cork. So i changed this with all the settlements, but this i was not sure how to do it since it interfered with the campaign_script which had that name. And i had never changed resources so i didn't know whether to touch these, and decided to keep it safe and not to. After two days of getting CTD or back to main menu i fixed it and i left cork, munster names unchanged (for a reason i don't remember).
    I tried it recently and it worked and i was happy, well until i saw that for some reason on the campaign map aragon, turks, hungary, lithuania, poland, ireland and many other factions weren't there. Those were all rebels, had no armies and were villages with no construction buildings. I was astonsihed and am really annoyed to why this happens. I said to myself, "ok, at least the regions work" so i made a backup of my regions, sounds and anything else i had modified. Then i wondered "will this happen to late era too" (i never touched late era) so i started SS6. the probelm was that now i got a CTD directly when entering (at splash screen) and i had not changed anything except made backups of my files that worked. I went to logs and i got this:

    the same as before. i am now about to break my computer because i do not know why this is happening. (i took out windowed = 1 and took out read only from .cfg file after suspecting it might be the cause)
    I have never touched these files in my log and i need help. could it be the weird shut down, could it be me or could my computer be in serious trouble? i don't want to give up and i really need help but i don't get any. its been quite some days and nobody has responded and i will take it out if someone solves it but if it's here then the problem isn't solved, full stop (this was edited after the comment above was placed)

    Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

    Quark only answered a CTD problem which i had before. Now this is a different CTD and a different problem

    Looks like a complete re-install of SS6.0 / 6.1 is in order to sort out the mess.
