Default Look for a MTII Mod

    hello.

I'm looking for a MTII mod who will meddle more realism and harder difficulties.

I don't know any of the mods proposed so if you can help me to select, i'll be pleased.

I'll be satisfied if, for realism, there are more territories, a bigger map and units with real equipement. Ex not full plate general in XIe century, more peasant/levy-army because real organised army doesn't exit in early middle age.
And for difficulty I need it harder than ... the hardiest difficulty in the original game. The scale of the game is 4 level of difficulty, if that could exist, I need a leat a 6.

For additionnals indications, if that helps, when I play Rome, I've already tried Rome Total Realism Mods (v6), who's very good but finally not so hard and Europa Barbarorum who seems to me the hardiest and more realistic I've tried.
Obviously I haven't tried every mods so don't be miffed if there is an another harder mod that I don't surlely know.

    thanks in advance.

Well I dont know any mods that will meet your specs but Stainless Steel improves difficulty adds to the map size and makes it more realistic and balnced.

Firstly, do you have just M2TW or do you also have Kingdoms expansion pack?

I would recommend Stainless Steel (It is the mod that I use). Like Nole4694 said it improves the difficulty, adds to the map size and it makes it far more realistic with extra factions too. If you are running kingdoms then you can use the latest version (SS 6.1) or if you don't have Kingdoms I think the highest is SS 4.1.

There are others apart from SS. Deus io vult, and Broken Crescent would be the most high profile/biggest mods. Try them all out if you want, they install themselves in different directories so they can be installed at the same time, so no hassle involved with that.

Welcome Hideyoshi. You posted once in the Mod Recommendations, but it was certainly no mistake.

Please ask any and all future questions about what mod to pick and choose in this thread, and thank you.
