i always win in my campaigns so i can't really say that i hate any faction a lot. but if i had to choose one, then my choice would be the Romans. they have great armies and many times in VH/VH i have big defeats in automatically battle and that makes me do them manually in order to win. this "waste of time" make me happy to destroy them more than anyone else!

I once had an assassin kill one of my generals in my city that had several spies and assassins in it. I got so mad that they could do that even against those odds, that I spawned a full stack of Yubtseb Elephants, and rampaged every single stack and city I could find.

The Seleucids. In almost every mod (except for vanilla), they usually get so huge and arrogant. Which is annoying for me as I love playing as Baktria, Parthia, and Armenia, who all need to fight uphill against stacks of Seleucids in a long war of attrition.

In vanilla it was the Egyptians with their overpowered fantasy units and huge population that keep churning out stack after stack of uber units.

Anyways I like all the factions, I can get annoyed with the AI and the politics, and I once swore at the Iberians who spammed a horde of assassins and killed both my family members in spain, while I was their ally as Carthage
2 Man of the hours later and Iberia was well on its way to being a non-faction. Oh yes! I hate allied assassins!

at my current campaign, I really hated the Seleucids. I wanted to crush em since they always get so big. So I aided Greece with armies and money.....what happened....they totally wasted the Seleucids and now Greece is the most feared faction in my game.

I guess I got what I wanted....but Greece has turned against me

In my current campaign as Thrace I'm really, really mad at the Scythians, cowardly running around the map with their HA, not wanting to fight. They have overrun the entire Crimean Peninsula (which I conquered in a very bloody war) and threaten my homelands. And I can't fight them since I'm in the process of unifying Greece (still 3 settlements to go). I'm sealing off all accesspoints to my lands and when Greece is mine, I will besiege most of their cities at once, leaving them no place to run.

Any faction that uses an excessive number of ranged units. I usually play as the Greek cities or Romans, so my armies are mainly infantry. it gets annoying as hell when all I have to do is chase around 4 or 5 units of horse archers/javliners. This usually means Thrace or Pontus.

In my recent Egyptian campaign, I was at war with the SE and had been bogged down in Antioch for a while. All of a sudden, my ally, Pontus, attacks me at Tarsus. So I took all of my troops in Asia minor and took their capital, and their other four cities.

Arrrgh! Pontus always does that in my campaigns too. I don't why why a piddling little 4 city faction thinks it can take on a rich opponent 4 times it size but they force me to crush them early almost every game.

The other one is Seleucia. They don't know when to stop! Even after taking 3/4 of their empire and garrisoning the border with more troops than they could ever hope to produce now they won't accept a peace deal. I tried offering them 100000 and a peace deal and they refused! I'm going to destroy them and give all their regions to my Egyptian Protectorate
