    Default Adding Clokes To Bodies

When I try to add a cloke to an existing torso I get an error.

Can someone help me by explaining what the correct procedure is in 3ds max to attach a cloke to a body.

    Thanks

Of course you get an error!
No one wears a cloak into battle, you drop them before action.

    Ha, ha.....ha.. hmm.
    Sorry, couldn't resist.

Import the cloak as any object (disgruntled goat's tutorial covers how), then weight it as such, top, middle, bottom to the cloak bones, and then anything around the shoulders to the torso, if he has a hood weight it to the head bone.

    What was the error msg?..

Great Answer!!! I love it because there are tons of units being made with cloaks now - I cant even wrap my mind around the thought of a unit having a cloak unless its a bodyguard unit or general.
