Hi,
When I played RTW vanilla as a house of Juli, I played it for more than 5 months. Keep in mind that I was very inexperienced and Thracians and Pontus were just unbeatable. It was on VH/H. Second long campaign that I played was in RTW:BI. I was the Eastern Roman Empire and I played it for more than 4 months. It took me so long to destroy the Sassanids and in the meantime I had to fight with the WRE and Hunns, Sarmatians, Goths, Lombardians, and Vandals who were crossing the Danube, ravaging my Balkan provinces and then laying siege to Costantinople.
The hardest ones for me to beat were the Sassanids (especially their armoured cavalry) and Hunns. It was on VH/H.
At the moment I am playing SS 6.1 and its been two months. Its on VH/VH.
Also, I am playing BC for one month now. Its also on VH/VH.
For some reason I love those long campaigns.

I love the long, hard campagins, but once you get to a certain level, you can just steam roll everything, and then the game loses it's appeal for me. I start over with a different faction, so the longest campaign I've had going was a 2 monther as the Scottish. Took over most of Western Europe, except for Italy.
Too.
Longest in Rome, I think a month or so, I have reached something like 400+ AD. In MTW maybe 3 weeks, my current French campaign is promissing I think it will take at least two months to finish it.
heh
somehow, the megalomania isnt as pronounced as it was in rome...
2 days, I just hate vanilla m2tw.
a little over a month.

Hi,
Hey, how much fun would it be if there was a vanilla or mod that can make you play for 1 or 2 years. But it has to be TW game and not WOW or games like that.
If they make something like that, I am sure my other activities in life will suffer greatly.

I think my current Byzantine Empire campaign is my longest; finally not cheating this time! I'd say I'm about 2 weeks in.
2 weeks, took over the whole world as milan in vanilla on M/M

In RTW vanilla (1.0!) I played a Greek campaign for about 8 months! I was playing for maybe 2-3 hours a day and tried the long campaign. Hoplites move to slow. Oh well :sparta:
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

Well my longest 1 day session was 11 hours yesterday as Ireland in the SS 1.61 early campaign.
It's incredible how much you can just soak up in 11 hours of straight gaming. That said... I'm not sure I'd do that again ever because I felt like I was asleep all day and by the time I was done I was not thinking clearly at all.
