i want to start making sigs, but don't know how to get battle-ingame screens.

could someone tell me how?

For me I just use the print screen as previously mentioned.
Some of the more experienced people use the Cinematic Editor.
I run a replay to make finding a good angle easier. When I have the shot I want, click the print screen. Then open my windows paint program and paste, then crop accordingly.
You can also find any screenshots taken during actual play or any that you've taken during a replay in your MTW2/ tgas folder.

Plus you'll need to use some form of photo sharing service online. I've been using snapdrive with what seems to be some success.
