If the oil company and many other large profitable companies are nationalized that means all the profit goes to the government so they don't need to tax the people. If its not nationalized then I don't have an answer.

Its pretty obvious. UAE take cuts from the oil companies (besides owning quite a few of them). Therefore they dont need to taxate the population.
I even heard that there is a negative taxation (meaning that the UAE citizens get small cuts from the oil trade).

Tax is illegal in the Normal States nevermind gulf states, IE Income tax, but they still do it, why should the government care Aslong as there stealing your money ?

You're joking right? They just happen to be sitting on the must lucrative commodity in the world. The Gulf States reap this bounty in several ways:My uncle works in Dubai and he said in that country tax is forbidden. So how the hell they make money?
- The Profits of National Oil companies.
- Leasing oil fields to outside corporations.
- Taking cuts off the profits of outside corporations.
I spent time in the Gulf, and yes there is reverse taxation (only for ethnic Arabs though). The government provides gas at ~.50 cents per gallon, they hand out parcels of land (my friend got ~$200,000 worth when he reached manhood), they pay excessive sums of money to farmers to grow anything, they pay students to go to college etc.
Not to mention the Gulf nations basically run on slave labor. In the UAE 90% of the workforce is imported from the east (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc.) And payed dollars per day, if they are lucky.

So what would they do when there is no more oil? I know that Dubai is already preparing for that by building massive tourist and business hubs but what about other Gulf States?

Well without oil, Saudi Arabia will be fracked in the bum. It's a welfare state. Kuwait will be fracked in the bum too. Bahrain will be fracked also, because it's economy is dependent on rich Saudis coming over to engage in whoring and drinking. Qatar is also shafted since it's also a welfare state.
So basically, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar and done for once the oil runs out. But the oil won't be running out any time soon.. so there's still a while. But once it is it's back to hunting scorpians and milking male camels.... from the penis.

Without oil the middle east states like Iran, saudi arabia, Qatar, and Iraq and various others totally die.
It will be a bit slow, since it will be a gradual sink in oil supplies then a crazy search to find whats left . But when theyre all gone these countries are screwed. I heard somewhere that an upward of 30% of the people in saudi arabia would find it extremely hard to live (either because they work in the oil industry or recieve benefits from it) if oil ran out.
Probably the best thing to happen for Israel and America actually. Theres no practical reason to support middle east oil states anymore, so even a tiny benefit of technology trades with either country would be far superior to..nothing. Oh yeah and theres no more funding for terrorist groups and propoganda media outlets. Which is even better.

Lebanon, Egypt, Syria and Jordan dont die without much oil. I doubt Iran and Iraq would die without oil either. However, the countries in the Arabian Peninsula will at most be in comma and go down to the standard of Yemen.
