    Default How to make inquisitors buildable? How to edit their spawn rate?

    I was wondering if it is possible to make inquisitors buildable by the player?

    I was sifting through the export_descr_buildings and noticed that not even the papacy builds these things, they seem to spawn only. However, where can I even find their spawn rate?

    I can't seem to findy anything inquisitor related in the data folder.

    OKay, I found something in descr_character, but nothing there seems to be pertaining to how often they'll spawn, only that they'll spawn for the pope and that they're type is agent and that they'll 'denounce.'

    Hi There,

    The info you need is in descr_campaign_db under 'religion'. You can tweak the values and even have Inquisitors start at a later date.

    Now, would you happen to know how to go about making witchs, inquisitors and heretics buildable?

    That'd be great.

    Here's the problem, regardless of which faction I make inquisitors buildable by in the export_descr_buildings, I get a CTD at start up. For some reason trying to make them buildable like a regular priest just doesn't seem to work.

    Hi Thoragoros,

    I don't know how to make heretics, inquisitors and witches buildable - hopefully someone can provide info on this. I just stumbled upon the spawn/conversion rates in descr_campaign_db. I think it would be great if the game allowed for buildings/recruitment of more than one religion type per settlement. Perhaps someone is working on this? Anyway, good luck.

    I don't know if it's possible but if it is, you'll have to add entries to export_descr_buildings.txt
    Hmm this might be an interesting feature for the papacy indeed

    Edit: Ok, it doesn't seem to work. The log says "unrecognised agent type" when trying to add a recruitment line
    What you could do is create a proxy unit and spawn the inquisitor by script when the unit is built - it's quite a bit of work though, and of course not too easy, either.

    I messed around with Inquisitors a while back, I dont think you can do anything with them related to recruiting, nor can you give them to another faction.

    I tried doing this awhile back no luck just landed me a nice CTD.

    Indeed, agents are pretty much hard-coded to the core. I don't think it's possible to even change the agent abilities: I removed denounce and added assassinate to inquisitors, but when I spawn one he can still denounce and not assassinate. They would have been a used for a feature in the Westeros mod...
