I don't believe they've ported to .960 yet, but they are planning to. If you want to run mods for older versions then you should download the old versions of Mount&Blade and install them to separate directories then install the mods you want to which ever version you downloaded.

You can download M&B version 0.903 here:
http://files.filefront.com/mountandb.../fileinfo.html
Hegemony is not compatible for 0.960 yet, but they're working on it:
QUOTE:
"This is the last VERSION for .903. The mod will be in a port process to .960 shortly"
Now you have to figure out what is 'Shortly'![]()
"How shall humankind ever find peace if the soul remains conscious in the sky and the shadow in the Underworld? The combination of sweet bait and naivety completely destroyes Nature's best gift: death, and doubles the agony of the dying with worries of a future!" - Pliny the Elder
probably at most a week i'll have the .960 release out.
well can they

Some might work on .960 however don't expect them to work well.
I would refer to their help files for details on what is compatible some might, but I'm guessing the larger ones might not.

Hi guys
I've got 0.955 and I tried to use the Britain1299 mod (which is admittedly for 0.950 :winkand it didn't work because my version isn't old enough.
My questions are 1) can I download 0.950 and have that as well as 0.955 on the same pc and 2) if so, will I need a new serial key?
and of course 3) is there a easier/simpler/better way of getting to play the mod?
cheers fellow mount&bladers and happy ride-by slashing![]()

Heya Zym good to see you in here!
See this thread. Basically you guessed right you can install separate versions of M&B to separate directories and run them with their respective mods.

Coolthanks Armatus. Do you know if and where I can download previous versions? There don't seem to be links on the Mount&Blade site...
oh and what do you mean by 'seperate directories'?

Well that's a good question. We really haven't kept them in one spot so what you would need to do is a search through this sub forum for the old release threads which contain the links. You can also find the old release thread with the download links by searching on taleworlds.com forums.
As to what I mean by directories. You should see that other link I posted there is a screen shot of them, directories are nothing more than the location of the folder. So go ahead an download them and install.
oh ok thanks![]()

The 'Expanded Gameplay' is known for its insanely fast horses, but it's for version 0.903. Download the mod here:

I don't know of any other mods that have fast horses.

Band of Warriors had faster horses, I think the fastest I saw was my black destrier with a speed of 49.
