kings,Generals, knights,dukes,earls,sultans,emperors,friends and allies I am about to begin a huge project the likes of which I am not worthy to do on my own. it is a huge guide featuring every aspect of both rome total war, medieval two total war, and the most popular mods there of. Any help with any part of any of those things would help me greatly. I do not know enough to do this on my own accord due to real life I do this to start a massive effort to eventually compile all the knowledge of rtw and m2tw together in one massive guide to it all please help or this will die like so many other good ideas.thank you in advance!

with all respect to the hard work of the people that made that it isn't what I meant it doesn't have a guide to using every unit for every faction for every mod in microscopic detail so if you don't like the idea then i respect your opinion but if you all would help me I would really like it I mean just imagine; a guide that all the fans for all the mods of of both rtw and m2tw help to make. it would be awesome! if you all don't help me its just not possible. thanks!

Hmmm:hmmm:. Maybe you could put the true history of this faction (before and until the end of the MTW era) aswell. That would make a good read. Plus point out the faults in the history. I might be able to help you with Wales.

EDIT:
Having seen roy's post, I think just inserting extra info into Wiki would be a better idea. You wouldn't much any credit, and maybe the structure wont be as good, but think of the work you don't have to do. Either way, good luck, and like I said I'd be happy to give my support, and maybe my time as well. Good Luck again.

Sounds quite promising, but a lot of people would have to put a lot of work into a lot of things. It's a simple matter of getting it started in the first place. But it is bound to be invaluable to anybody who needs to use it when it's completed.

Such things would probably require a Webhost, Or we could do it on this forum, whichever you desire.

I recommend you make a Template that requires people to fill it out, stating their game knowledge, which mods they play, and so on, get about 7 or 8 people and go with it.

think of a template with a dozen questions, it may help.

thank you, thank you all! I know this isn't a thing thats going to be done over night all of you have good ideas I especially like the Template idea and getting together a team and getting off a good solid, steady, start will be my first priority I will start making that template any suggestions on its format would help all ideas will be fairly considered by me and hopefully soon the team I want this to be a team effort. I will post the template after its done and thoroughly edited to a point of near perfection as I said before all ideas are welcome. Once the team is put together we will discuss whether or not to have it separately or with the twc wiki. THANKS!

I have been on that sight and found it helpful many a time, General Erwin Rommel, but I am talking of a strategy guide to all campaigns, unit,faction,for the wonderfully made mods of m2tw and probably rtw. thanks for the constructive criticisms! when i first got in to total war I looked for such a guid but I only found the basics. What a good idea Caradog! I am a little bit of a history buff myself but I don't know much about wales as soon as I am done with that template you can fill it out by the way do you play vanilla or some mod? thanks!

I would suggest, for a project as large as the one you are suggesting, that like said above you gain a solid core of 7 or 8 people to get it off the ground. I would also suggest creating a forum for the core group working on it to be able to communicate and discuss ideas etc.

My knowledge on the games aren't that extensive so I wouldn't be of a great help however.
