Well I don't know, I've been reading Unfinished Tales, Hobbit, LotR and Silmarillion everyday for several hours so I stay in Tolkien-shape

And btw, even in "Team and credits" thread is very many researchers, at the moment only me and Big Red 1 are researchers.

This is kind of pretty offtopic for this thread..

But there is a bunch, i bet, that would love to be researchers.. and if one doesnt like to read much, he shouldnt be a researcher, because thats what a researcher does. As code_knight said before, alot of ideas has also come from the fans around this forum..

But researchers are needed ofcours, but the hard work is done by those who is actually making it.

I don't know I spent like 30 minutes on that unit list. (each of them) Plus I have probably posted more on this forum than anyone here besides Code_Knight. (I was at 1,200 purely on this forum til I posted outside this forum.)

Also I just rock, so get over hating on us. I think it's just because deep down you want to be a researcher too!

Well lad.. the point is that making suggestion for how a unit roster should look like , is much much easier then actually making the units.. which is quite obvious.. I've never made a skin or a model in anykind in this game, but from what i've heard and seen it seems pretty damn hard(if your not a beast at it)..
Have you ever tried it?

Yes I am learning to model, and yes it is one of the hardest things you will ever do, but that doesn't mean that being a researcher is a comfortable job.

thank u counter, and not to take sides, but i agree with counter, i didnt see a FAQ anywhere, oh also i have the Gold Edition that came with mtw2 and kingdoms, do you think this mod will still work, on gold edition that is?

He isn't officially a researcher but has offered me his help and I've requested him to make up some name for cities of Rhûn and Harad, he seems to have pretty good languange skills with sindarin

And also I have posted almost all my posts in this forum and I have given my support to this mod as a fan before we had a single preview.

Question: How will the voices be done in this mod? Like; are you gonna use Elvish for the High and Silvan Elves?, or accents from MTW2? And how are you gonna do the Orcish Mordor voices?

voices are pretty difficult to do so we'd probably have to find a way to take sounds from the movies and somehow get them into the game but of course that won't really get elvish done very well for example

Indeed, that would be very hard since there is very little Elvish and practicly no Khuzdul. Does anyone know how that is done in other LOTR mods?

Why not use the voices from BFME? I no that game had nothing to do with Middle-earth but it has the voices you need. Scotland could be used for the Dwarves if you really have nothing else

It is without BFME permission, but LOTR:TW is providing us with voices.

it's not illegal it only would be illegal if we were using their content for profit so it wouldn't be illegal and thanks for the info there Code_Knight
