    Thanks kekesvar.bingos,

The distance from the capital is from what I know hardcoded and the usual way to reduce the penalty is to center your capital..witch you probably already know. The Rio's Beyond Glory will smack you hard when trying to capture and romanize a known barbarian or non Roman factions region(prearranged capital) but the rewards are huge public and law increases when you succeed and a pretty neat ancillary for your emperor(Non Roman factions also have this kind of feature but in a much morel limited way.

OK, Thanks!!! fortunately i play as Romano-Britons (those more romanized ones i guess).. keep up the good work! and ... one sugestion: balancing the border between Soisson region and Augusta Treverorum which lie just to the east --- there´s a river as a border between these two regions with one exception - in the middle part of this border, where the ford and bridge is, Augusta Treverorum has few square west of the river - quite nonsense, i personally moved the border a bit to east so it could lie exactly on the river... well - keep up the best work possible

yep... and last final question: as i said above... im playing as Romano - Britones (entirely in white on campaign map) and id like to give them more celtic feel so i wanted to change their general´s names but i couldnt find in descr_names.txt their column... what is this faction´s name youre using in moded files or could you simply tell me how to change their character´s names? :hmmm: thanks a lot

Its under the w roman rebels...that faction is trying to restore roman ways in britain behind ambrosius that's why the Roman names...but the file descr_names needs modifying set up as: maybe separate empire_west_rebels with a column and a new list then add the British names with them..haven't tried this but think it should work.

    rio/data/file:descr_names

    faction: empire_west, empire_west_rebels
    characters
    Aegidius
    Aelianus
    Ammianus
    Amulius

anything u see that doesn't seem right fire away...I'm sure there are many more things that need work..things I'm aware of and things I'm not..
