Re: spartan perioci hoplite?
They should still be there. I can't check the files until I get back though.

Re: spartan perioci hoplite?
well i havent played the latest version long so it could just be me though i could only see a phalangite perioci unit not a hoplite but it doesnt matter that much realy just always been a sucker for hoplites
EDIT: dont mind me im just the local pillock (the unit was right in front of me the whole time)

Re: spartan perioci hoplite?
I just downloaded version 5.7.9 earlier this week, but I think the answer is in export_desc_buildings. The lines for the perioici hoplite and the perioici phalangites are right next to each other beginning with the level three Greek barracks. Perioici hoplites should be immediately recruitable at that level, but the appearance of the phalangites is tied to the Marian Reforms effect.
If you wish to change this, just edit the phalangite line to read the same as the hoplite.
On a similar note, I can't find "enum" files in the XGM/data directory, what happened.

Re: spartan perioci hoplite?
Good to see you again Agathon. Most of the enum files were made obsolete by the 1.5/1.6 patch - you don't need them.

Re: spartan perioci hoplite?
Good to hear from you too, DBH. I've been doing version 4 all this time. Took in the readme for version 5 recently and had to upgrade. Right now I'm making a few "private" modifications for 5.7.9, and this question of the two large "perioici" infantry units was something I was dealing with yesterday. I hope it opened a window or two for Darylb.
Never hesitate to mod a great mod, it teaches you to be a better modder - Agathon.
