    Default Traitorous Heir Mission

I've had quite a few of these (when another faction's heir asks you to kill their daddy). Now, does it mean you have to assasinate him, or is their another way? I tried it once with an isolated facttion leader in a city, but ended up failing. But what if youre at war with the faction it's directed at???

I got a regicide mission from France once. They were good allies and we were both reliable. I didn't want to build assasins so i saved, then seiged the town their king was in. A turn later he was dead. I screwed my rep and my alliance, but I thought it would be worth it, simply for the novelty of a new mission.

Then the little scum comes back with, my father has already died, your services are no longer needed. What! He was killed by my hand! I never got the 500 florins I was promised...

a successfull assassination is to not leave any hard evidence that it was you.

an army of a couple of thousand soldiers and mercenaries flying your colours sitting in front of the whole court does not count as "no hard evicence"

500 florins? You besiged a city and broke your alliance for 500 florins?

And I've never gotten one of those missions before... and I have just the man for one. My best assassin just killed Milan's faction leader with an 89% chance of doing in.

king assassination missions always give u 5000 and a major relations boost.... the 5k u get, but the relation boost sucks..... and yes ONLY assassination will work, not killing him in combat

Only assassination will complete ur mission but belive me its not worht of it i mean if u dont use assassing on the game u have to train 1 then kills oem weak chars until his skill raises i think its too much for such small reward

regicide missions make very little sense to me. if you do not complete them, as a penalty your reputation with that faction will lower. you choose not to slay the faction's leader and they think less of you for this? what?
what should be affected is the little runt's opinion of you, which is irrelevant anyway..

I agree, it really doesn't make sense that your reputation with the faction lowers at all.

I have been given that mission quite a few times before and it's usually the French heir who asks me to dispose of his father. Trust not French princes

If an heir from a faction I hate asks me to do it, I'll kill his daddy and then him the next turn. If were allied, oh look. France's faction heir passed away during the night. He was bit by a snake, stabbed in the back and there was this hay cart outside that caught fire. I guess we'll never know if it was on purpose...

I never understand why the assassin always decides to strike in broad daylight wearing "assassiny-clothes" with guards walking around.

Yeah, I mean, why would you throw a knife at a guy or stab him in the back with screaming ladies around? And you know the snake movie? When the snake turns, why not stab the guy instead of running after your G0**@** snake?
