After Installing the legendary SS 6.0, I then Installed the patch. When It came to the part where you can choose a sub mod to install, I ticked Real Recruitment/ Real Combat. Then I Installed the updated version of RR (The version that you use if you use RC). Then I wanted to try a custom battle. Crash. Screen turned black, pressed Esc to go back to desktop, I didn't really care at the time. Then I tried to play the late campaign. Crash, did the same thing as custom battle. So then I tried the early campaign. Everything was fine, playing as the Romans, sent a army to deal with annoying rebels but when it took me to the loading screen (Before the Start of the battle) You guessed it, Crash. This time it was horrible. The screen stayed black, showing the loading cursor, tried pressing the Esc and alt-ctrl-delete thing and nothing worked. Hell even shutting of my HD and pressing the power button wouldent even work. I was forced to yank the power plug Can anybody lift this curse off me?...

Did you install both part 1 & part 2 of SS6.0?

use the bug subforum, post your system log, search the forums, etc, etc

If I use the RR update (the one that you use If you don't use RC) Everything Works perfectly. But then In battle I don't see the things that are supposed to be In RC like the Standard Bearers, etc.

OK I suspect you are a bit mixed up. When you installed the 6.1 patch you ticked RR/RC. RC is not SSTC. You then installed the latest RR update, for use with SSTC, but you never installed SSTC.

You should install 6.1 patch with RR ticked, then install SSTC with its updates and hotfixes, then install latest RR for use with SSTC.
