Whats a good mod?

I am all done with Vanilla and ready to try a mod. What I would want out of the mod is in order of importance:

1. No more Mongols (they ruin every game for me)
2. More unique units (I know the Middle Ages were fairly one dimensional, but come on, I can only fight with feudal knights so many times before they bore me)
3. I have the MTW Gold edition so a mod will have to be compatible with that.

If you have any suggestions please let me know.
