    Default Another compatibility question...

I'd like to know, how well would this rig play Med2, if at all. Here are all the vitals:
    -3GB of 667MHz DDR2 RAM
-ATI Radeon HD 2600 Graphics with 512MB GDDR3 Dedicated Memory
    -Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 (1.83GHz, 667MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache)

    Please and thanks.

your processor is what's going to hold you back, i have a 2.5ghz quad core overclocked to 3.0 and on the best settings Med2 is taking up one whole processor...

Yeah that's what I was afraid of, so would you say it would play like a slideshow or moderately laggy? I'm not going to ramp up every single setting (grass goes off, dust goes off, etc.) but you'd think the graphics card and RAM would compensate, wouldn't you? Hopefully the bottleck won't be too bad.

i think it'll play alright but you won't be able to play with the settings set to huge armies possibly... and turn the graphics down a bit and it should work fine. it really stinks this game cant take advantage of my than one processor

Indeed, that truly is bs. Oh well, perhaps when Empire:TW it will be built for dual-cores, and everybody will be using quad-cores by then.

You complainers forget something. When this game was origally released, it was all single core machines.
