I fricken love Crusader mod

wow, I'd put off installing this mod for a long time. now that I finally started playing it all I can say is WOW!!!! theres a ton of new items, the game feels like it has purpose. It is by far the best made mod out there ( with maybe the exception of TLD). not only that but you enemy is very well equiped and armored in most cases which makes for alot tougher battles and insane on the harder difficulties.

ps. anybody have any idea what banners are used for? I usually end up with several enemy banners after a fight, but have no idea what they are for.

As far as I know, there is Holy War (no release yet, possibly halted or dead...)

and a newer one (possibly the one Scheuch is talking about), which has a release, but is largely incomplete and historically inaccurate.

AFAIK The Holy War is halted till versoon 1.00 of Mount&Blade. This crusader mod might be fun but I will not see it as 'best mod around' or even close to it. It's unfinished, no new battle maps/,map, no new scenes... I admit that the maker's done a very good job though!
