Let's consider the following: in my game as Germany, the year is 1952. My puppets are USA, the Ukraine, Russia, the Transural Republic, Kazakhstan, Nationalist China, England, Scotland, India, Burma, Pakistan, Norway, and Canada. While the games does punish you with TC issues and partisans for having too much occupied land, it seems kind of cheap and gamey that your puppets can never try to overthrow your rule. My army is only about 100 units; Russia, the Ukraine, and the Transural Republic alone out number be by about 2:1, and that's not even counting Natinonalist China, India, and America. Even worse, their units lack good tank forces, but they still have about the same level of technology and org. Furthermore, about half of my army is fighting Mexico right now, meaning that if the Russians and the Ukrainians really wanted to, they could easily overrun Germany before I could stop them.
Historically, even powerful state like the Soviet Union often have problems keeping its puppets in line. Am I the only one who thinks that there should be random revolt events for puppet states? Or that puppet states should have at least have dissent and TC issues, to represent their people's resentment of foreign rule?
