help please
I'm going to sound like an absolute noob but i have no idea what to.
I recently borrowed the full game of Medieval Total War 2 from a mate and so is installed from a disk. No problems whatsoever have occured when my mate was using it.
What happens is whenever i try to load a battle the the load bar loads but then the game hangs and i have to load the task bar where it says the program is not responding. I meet all the min spec and i am using Vista.
Anyone have a solution as the campaign is getting boring without the occasional battle to amuse me
Thanks

Re: help please
I would say lower your graphics settings. Turn off unit banners in your pref file. Turn off grass. Just set everything to medium.

Re: help please
Maybe you need to update your video card drivers. And shut down other programs that are running in the background.

Re: help please
What are your computer specs? I know you say minimum but just to be specific.

Re: help please
Vista and games are a bad combo.
That said, with the onboard graphics and cpu being pretty weak, you will only play on low or medium settings at best. If it's a laptop, the odds of upgrading either or both is little to none.

Re: help please
You have to have in the drive. Copy protection finds anything but that disc, it will ruin your whole day. Because of the copy protection being what it is finds an .exe that has been modified as in cracks or run on emulation software will do anything but run right. Go buy the discs like the rest of us.

Re: help please
About the Vista, I had the same problem, only on XP, and that was caused because I unpacked the files, have you unpacked, and if so, have you deleted the two files in Data, the geography ones I mean...
