Senate Offices

Hey all, well I'm starting up RTW again and doing a new campaign as Julii and I was wondering what the point of Senate Offices are? Apparently each office holds influence in the Senate but things seem to be staying the same?

Also, Brutii and Scipii still get offices assigned to them even though their reputation with the Senate is rock bottom.. So my question is, what exactly are Senate Offices and do they hold any significance?

Senate offices are titles that give positive traits to your generals. You get senate offices depending on your popularity with the senate, the more popular you are the more and better offices you get. Even if you lose an office your general will still have positive traits for having run that office.
The reason that Brutii and Scipii still receive offices might be that you are too powerfull, and the senate trusts them more than they trust you.

Ah cool, I had the majority of offices with the Pontifex Maximus and noticed my guys Influence shoot up. What happens if you have all the offices? Politically, does nothing change?

Nothing changes politically, (not that theres politics in RTW). Just more management + influence.
