    Default Invisible units

    hey,

getting back into rtw/bi and skinning some new textures.
however parts of my units are invisible or can only be seen when close up.

Been saving in different formats and nothing helps yet.

Lookig in the forums for past post, on dialup so looking is slow.

    Thanks

If they disappear when you zoom out it means you have no sprites for the unit(or maybe some messed up sprites). Check the DMB entry and see that either the whole sprites line is removed or the unit has proper sprites for it.

It works ok with the original texture. Bugs out with the re-texture

Did you re-texture areas which were previously removed by an alpha channel ?.

Iam not sure. Its not a stock skin. Iam still learning about the alpha.

I loaded the un-modded skin(working), did nothing to it, and saved it as dx5 ?? and it messed up too. So its in how the skin is being saved i believe.

Solved it. I had been playing around with the sharening saving option and had set it to Darker and forgot to change it back. So it causes invisibility.

Thanks to you all for the help.
