Kingdoms chasing when having a battle...

Okay, I recently got the Kingdoms expansion pack. But in all of them I just never can seem to battle. (On the map) I've reinstalled Kingdoms three times, still is messing up. Anyone know how I could fix this?

PS - I'm using Vista...

Have you unpacked it? have you changed any files? What factions?

I've only unpacked Medieval 2, not Kingdoms. And yes, I've deleted the files needed from Medieval. I've not changed any files in Kingdoms. And it's every faction.

Just installed the update, went to play a battle. CRASH... I don't understand how it can't be working, Medieval works fine in everything.

I beleive I ran into this problem before and it was caused by the unpacking of the game. I would reinstall the game completely and if you have to unpack the files, modify the file so it unpacks to a different location and if you modify an unpacked file then copy it into the game directly.
