I'll start from the beginning. For years I've been struggling to play Total war games with low setting because of my crappy pc. But now I have a new PC so (naturally) the first thing I did was to reinstall MTW2 and BC. Then I maxed out all settings, changed unit size to huge and revived my old Khwarezm campaign.
However, I almost immediately encountered an error. For some reason the game warns me when the number of men in battle exceeds approximately 4000. I was dumbstruck. That is the exact same number of men that caused a similar warning in my old PC. So I wanted to test if my new and improved PC could actually handle over 4000 men in battle.
And it clearly did. I did a custom battle of 18,000 men and it worked. I still don't get why the game doesn't allow over 4000 men in campaign battles though. Every time there comes the 'reinforcements delayed' thingy. This significantly decreases fun because most of the armies are about 2500 men in size.
What I would like to know is, where is the unlimited men in battlefield thing located. I would so much want to put unlimited men on and happily continue my Khwarezm campaign without delayed reinforcements.
Thanks in advance. +Rep and cake for all who help me![]()
