Question about the campaign...
I was wondering if I could edit the export_descr_unit file and delete some of the troop types for the Adunabar faction. Of course, I would save them into another file, but I just wanted to take out the Human units to face the Orcs, unless there is an event that takes place in-game where the Orcs become more prominent in the Adunabarian armies. Let me know if you don't understand what I mean, I will be more than happy to clear it up for you...

Re: Question about the campaign...
If it's only campaign you care about and not custom battles, edit export_descr_buildings.txt instead, removing the recruiting capabilities of mannish soldiers from Adunabar. ALso remove them from the descr_strat.txt. BUT Adunabar is using a kind of reform technique in the EDB, which assumes the mannish units are trainable; if you remove them you'll be left with some useless buildings and a recruitment hole that might lead to the rebellion-CTD. It's a tad complicated to explain, so short answer: you can do it by modifying the EDB, but it's not perfectly safe.

So, if I save a copy of the EDB file and edit the original I could still remove the original if it didn't work and replace it with the copy right?

Yep, but it would not be save-game compatible. Backing up files is always a good thing.

Re: Question about the campaign...
theres an easier way, you just got to edit EXPORT_DESCR_UNIT, and put the cost of the units you dont want them to use extremely high, like this they wont use those units, and there wont be any CTD's
