    Default increase farming?

    Hello there,

    I was just thinking about increasing the farming income(if it is possible). But as i dont know what file to look at, i dont know how to do it. So is there someone out there who have a clue how to increase the income of either farming or mining?

    cheers,

    Not tried modding this myself but there's a brief tutorial here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/wiki/Descr_regions.txt

    (descr_regions.txt can be found in the SS6.0 folder/data/world/maps/campaign/custom/late_era_campaign/)

    and for early era:
    SS6.0 folder/data/world/maps/base/

    the info about farms seems to be the same in m2:tw kingodms etc.

    You increase the base level for the region but if you look on your financial statements at year end you'll notice the value changes depending on what sort of harvest it is. Don't know of a way of changing the value of a harvest.

    The farm value is based on what sort of terrain it is etc.

    I would not edit regions file as this effects growth rate, to edit the income from farms you would edit the descr_settlement_mechanics file, Look for

    <factor name="SIF_FARMS">
    <pip_modifier value="0.7"/>

    Edit the highlighted value (SIF stands for Settlement Income Factor).

    To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.
